– Emma Margaret Taylor returned to her Heavenly Father, family and friends on Friday, December 30, 2011. She was born January 22, 1917 in Willard, Utah to Leon and Margaret Compton Nicholas. She graduated from Weber High School. Emma was married to Earl Singleton, W. Lloyd Anderson and Royal Taylor. She worked at The Bookmark, ZCMI, and Intermountain Lighting. Emma was a member of the LDS Church where she served as a Primary teacher, Primary President and three times as a Relief Society President. She was an excellent seamstress, enjoyed hand sewing, quilting and cooking. Family and friends were extremely important to her. Emma is survived by her sister, JoAnn (Richard) Miller. Her posterity includes; Robert (Clara) Singleton, Pat (Glen) Budge, Kurt L. Anderson, ten grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert Singleton, her husband, Royal Taylor, and her siblings, Edwin Nicholas, Kenneth Nicholas, Leon Nicholas and Leona Boal. Funeral services will be held Thursday, January 5th at 11 a.m. at Lindquist’s Roy Mortuary, 3333 West 5600 South. The family will meet with friends on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Roy City Cemetery.
