Emily Jessica Haynes Romero

August 10, 1991 — July 7, 2024

Emily Jessica Haynes, a devoted mother, wife, daughter and sister passed away unexpectedly at the home she grew up in. Emily was born on August 10, 1991 to Markus and Cammie Olesen Haynes at St. Benedict’s Hospital and became their greatest precious gift.

Emily felt the need at an early age to help people, especially her younger brother Heston. While going to Roy High School she made the decision to become a nurse as a career so she could continue to help others. She graduated from Weber State University with a BS in Nursing and just recently received her Master’s in Nursing to become a Nurse Practitioner.

On June 5, 2021 Emily married the love of her life Jared Romero and on May 23, 2023 she had her bright shining star Jaylin Rae. She was the best mom to Jaylin and loved her deeply, always attentive to all of Jaylin’s needs. Jaylin never went without all of Emily’s love and devotion.

Emily was a true gift from our Heavenly Father and had a heart of gold. She took after her mother as she was so beautiful but not only on the outside but the inside as well. She was also a daddy’s girl who was willing to help whenever it came to go on a camping trip. She loved to play soccer when she was little and loved playing outdoors. She was an avid Dallas Cowboys fan who loved to cheer on her team with her family.

She loved going to her grandma and grandpa’s house to play in the irrigation ditch out back and catch turtles and tadpoles. Emily loved camping, especially when it was in the Uinta’s with the entire family. She could do anything she set her mind to. She excelled in everything she did, always giving 100% of herself. Emily could take the ugliest flower arrangement and turn it into a beautiful masterpiece. She was kind of a Tomboy but don’t be fooled, when she got ready to go out somewhere, she was absolutely breathtaking. Emily was very funny, and her quick wit was second to none. She was truly a Child of God and was sealed to her family knowing she would be with them again.

Emily is survived by her husband Jared Romero, their beautiful daughter Jaylin Rae. Also, by her ever-loving parents Markus and Cammie Haynes, brother Heston (Calli) Haynes, her niece Quinn, her grandmother's Connie Olesen, and Carol Ann Bittinger Haynes, as well as many cousins, aunts, and uncles. Emily was preceded in death by her grandfather James D. Olesen.
