Elora Ann Rudd

“You Are My Sunshine,” the color pink, the movie Frozen, Sour Patch Kids, her older sister Mary Jane, her younger brother Kyler, and her baby sister Danielle—these were a few of the things Elora “Ellie” Ann Rudd loved. She was born on April 18, 2021, to Sarah and Michael Rudd.

Ellie passed away on January 6, 2026, at the age of four, at Primary Children’s Hospital. At the time of her passing, she was dressed in a blue princess gown given by the staff, surrounded by loving family members, and cradled in her parents’ arms.

Ellie was just learning to write her name and was making strong progress in speech therapy at her preschool. She was very nurturing, taking care of her baby sister, swaddling her baby dolls, and showing off her stuffed dalmatian. Making silly faces and playing with her cousins were some of her favorite pastimes. She was—and will always be—our spunky, sweet, sunshine.

Ellie is survived by her parents, Sarah and Michael Rudd; her three siblings, Mary Jane, Kyler, and Danielle; her grandparents, Julee and Kevin Wing, Robyn and Clive Rudd; her great-grandparents, Mary and Phil Rollins, and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her great-grandparents.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 16, 2026, at 2 p.m. at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1150 N Monroe Blvd, Ogden. Friends may visit with family on Friday from 12 to 1:30 p.m. at the church. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park, 100 N Monroe Blvd, Ogden.
