Elmo D. Christensen passed away May 8, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. 

He was born May 24, 1935 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Jacob and Elizabeth Thelma Snyder Christensen.  He was raised in Bountiful and graduated from Davis High School.  After graduation Elmo became a truck driver.  Driving was his main occupation until he retired at 65. 

Elmo enjoyed music and good food.  He had impeccable table manners and he was always very gracious to everyone. 

He is survived by his children: Shellie (Paul) Hogue and Susan Sieben, grandchildren, Elizabeth Rodriguez, Colton Sieben, brother, Grant, brother-cousin, Morris and four great-grandchildren.   

He was preceded in death by his parents, his long-time companion Carol Bond, brothers Elvin and David, son Kurt, son-in-law, Gary Sieben, grandson, Scott and granddaughter, Megan. 

No services are planned at this time. 

Services entrusted to Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. 

The family would like to thank the caring staff at St. Joseph’s Villa.
