Ella Lavon (Bonnie) Daniels
She passed away at the age of 75 in the early morning hours of February 10, 2012 with her loving family gathered at her side.
Bonnie was born in the Oskaloosa, Kansas on June 6 1936, raised by Kelly and Myrtle Keeton. She is survived by her husband of 55 years Walter Daniels, and three children, Teresa Daniels (Kaysville, Ut.) Matthew Daniels and his wife Stephanie of (Port Orchard Wa.) Elizabeth Layne (Ogden Ut.), Her brother Melvin Walter and his wife Norma, (Lecompton Ks.), nine grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her grandson Troy Nicholson.
She spent most of her adult life in Ogden as a homemaker and mother, she very much enjoyed cooking and as such she achieved Grand Champion at the Utah State Fair for three consecutive years for her candies and baked goods. She actively participated in her children''s schooling, held various PTA positions, and enjoyed being athletic club booster.
Her kindness, compassion, and sense of humor allowed her to touch many lives. Her willingness to help anyone who needed it, allowed her to have numerous friends, many of whom she considered family. Loving her family and friends, spending time in her home, and helping others were her passions.
Family will meet with friends on Sunday February 19, 2012 from 1 to 3 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
