Elaine Fowers Wade passed away peacefully at her home in Warren on Sunday, January 22, 2012. She was born on June 8, 1928 in Hooper, Utah. She was the oldest daughter of Stanley Williams and Ella Marie Olsen Fowers. Elaine lived in Hooper for fourteen years and then her family moved to Ogden, Utah, where she continued to live until she married Owen H. Wade on May 12, 1954 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. After the couple was married, they moved to Warren, Utah, where they raised three children. She was a loving wife and a proud mother.

Elaine was full of pride of her membership in the Daughters of the Utah Pioneers and her 17 years of volunteering at the McKay Dee Hospital Gift Shop. She loved spending time in her garden planting flowers and vegetables. Elaine was a good cook and was glad to share her cooking and gardening skills with everyone. Elaine was also employed by the USU Extension Service.

She was a member of the LDS Church in Warren. She served as Junior Sunday School Coordinator and held several teaching positions in the ward. She worked as a temple ordinance worker for eight years in the Ogden Temple.

Elaine is survived by her husband, Owen; her sons, Larry (Shauna), and Eldon (Victoria); daughter, Ralene (Richard) Lindley; 10 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by, her father, mother, two brothers and sister.

Elaine will be deeply missed by her family and friends who deeply loved her.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 27, 2012 at 11 a.m. at the Warren LDS Ward, 856 North 5900 West. Friends may visit family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 North Washington Blvd., and Friday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Interment, Warren Cemetery.
