Surrounded by his family, Edward Ray Summers, 92, passed away at his home on April 29, 2024, in Pleasant View, Utah. Edward was born September 27, 1931, to Ivan Alvord and Elizabeth Knowles Summers at their home in Avon, Utah. After retiring from the IRS, Ed took on his favorite role, “full time grandpa.” Ed loved nothing more than spending time with and supporting his grandchildren and he was adored by them.

Ed was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in a variety of callings including as a missionary in the Inner-city Ogden Mission with his wife.
