LAYTON a€" Edward Charles Retta, 89, passed away Saturday, June 13, 2009.
He was born April 19, 1920 in New York, New York the son of Charles and Esther Retta.
Edward married Moni Elizabeth Senftleber in August 1945 in Minnheim.
He served in the U.S. Army.
He retired as an auditor from Civil Service.
Surviving is his wife.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be held Friday, June 19, 2009 at 9 a.m. at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church 210 So. Chapel Street, Layton. Friends and family may call Thursday from 6 to 7 p.m. at Lindquist''s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road. Prayer service 7 p.m.
Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Park at Layton, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.
