Edith Karadeema Kranendonk

April 10, 1936 ~ June 17, 2022

Edith G. Kranendonk, loving wife and mother of five, passed away at home with her family by her side. Edith was born in Middletown, PA, where she was the second of four siblings. Moving to Ogden when she was 12, she graduated Ogden High School in 1954. In 1957, Edith married Wilford Kranendonk Sr. (“Big Wil”). She worked at Defense Depot Ogden and at St. Benedict’s Hospital. She was a dedicated member of the First Baptist Church of Ogden where she established many longtime friendships; she loved to sing in the choir there. Edith was devoted to her family and was an avid fan of the Atlanta Braves.

Edith is survived by her children, Carol (Ronnie) Roylance, Barbara Clark, Wilford (Carri) Kranendonk Jr., and Sandi (Dan) Cargill. She is preceded in death by her husband, “Big Wil” and her son, David Lee Kranendonk.

The family wants to especially thank Barbara for her dedicated attention to dad and mom these last 10 years, and to Encompass Hospice Care for their assistance.
