Duane Dee Goodyear

Duane Goodyear, 74, passed away on December 13, 2023 in Bountiful, Utah.  He was born August 18, 1949 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Earl and Lillian Goodyear.  He married Pat Huffty September 13, 1971.  They had been married 54 years at his passing.

Duane graduated from the University of Utah in Civil Engineering.  Duane loved to camp, hunt, fish, golf and bowl with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, Pat, and his children Terry (Brenda) Goodyear, Jason (Katie) Goodyear, Matt (Ashley Stevenson) Goodyear; three grandchildren Rylee, Ryder, and Wyatt.

Thanks to Welcome Home Assisted Living and Cascade Springs Hospice Care for all their tender care of Duane.  In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Humane Society.

A celebration of Duane’s life will be held Thursday, December 21^st from 6-8pm at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, Utah.
