CLEARFIELD a€" Douglas Charles Brimhall, 57, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2012 as a result of ongoing health issues.

He was born on June 30, 1955 in Salt Lake City, Utah to Thomas J. and Elaine Parsons Brimhall.

Doug retired from the U.S. Navy after 20 years of service. He worked as an Instrumentation Specialist and was very proud of his time serving our country. He explored many careers during his life and had recently earned a Master''s Degree in Business Administration.

He married Barbara Zick; they later divorced. Together they had two daughters whom he absolutely loved and adored.

Doug enjoyed acting and was involved with local theaters and productions. He loved taking pictures and making videos of his family. He also enjoyed music and playing the bass.

Surviving are his daughters Kathryn "Katie" and Margaret "Maggie" Brimhall, both of Washington, siblings, Tonya Higham, Utah; Thomas J. (Carol) Brimhall Jr., Michigan; Barbara (Micky) Merriman, Utah; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents. Doug we love you and you will be missed as a father, brother, uncle and friend.

Graveside services will be held Saturday, December 8, 2012 at 12:00 noon at Elysian Burial Gardens Cemetery, 1075 E. 4580 So., Salt Lake City where military honors will be accorded.
