Frances Lyksett
Dorothy Frances Lyksett, 90, passed away peacefully on December 8, 2011. She was born on October 31, 1921 in Nome, North Dakota to Henry Herman and Mamie Wells Robertson.
She has lived in Nome and Enderlin, North Dakota; Swift Current, Saskatchewan; Camas, Washington where she graduated from Camas High School; Honolulu, Hawaii; Bethesda, Maryland; Bellevue, Nebraska; London, United Kingdom; and finally settled in South Ogden, Utah.
Dorothy married Albert Jennings Lyksett on August 28, 1943 in Hemingway, South Carolina. He preceded her in death on December 2, 2003. She was a member of Sons of Norway. She loved to spend time visiting with her grandsons.
She is survived by her sons, Jon D. (Marlene) Lyksett, Blackfoot, Idaho; and Robert A. (Christine) Lyksett, Draper, Utah; and three grandchildren, Jamal K. (Carolyn) Lyksett, Aaron J. Lyksett, and Austin R. Lyksett.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, December 14, 2011 at 11 a.m. at Community United Methodist Church, 163 West 4800 South, Washington Terrace. Friends may visit family on Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
