Donna Dickemore Penrod

Donna Dickemore Penrod was born on September 10, 1927 to Adam and Emma Amelia Dickemore. She passed peacefully from this life on June 19, 2022.

Donna married Floyd John Penrod on October 9, 1946 in the Salt Lake Temple. She enjoyed serving in many different positions in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

She had many hobbies such as embroidering, crocheting, and reading, especially recipe books, and she enjoyed traveling. She also enjoyed pizza and stated that she could eat it every day. She found joy in working in her yard especially caring for her flowers.

The last year of her life, Donna received tender loving care from her family, the staff at Beehive Homes of Syracuse, especially her two granddaughters Sage and Anedy, as well as Jessie from hospice.

Donna is survived by her children, Sharon (Greg) Hopkins, Joanne (Steve) Rees, Arlette (Danny) Wilson, Rick (Angie) Penrod, Terry (Bonnie) Penrod, and Shellie Penrod (Jodie Hughey); 14 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, 12 great-great-grandchildren; her sister, Joyce Bennett; and many wonderful nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; her sister, Carolyn Davis; and brothers, Delbert, Glen, and Roland Dickemore.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 24, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Friday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.
