Donna Mabel France

Donna M. France, 82, passed away peacefully Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Washington Terrace Care and Rehab.

She was born August 8, 1929 in Mountain Green, Morgan County. A daughter of Darrell Lamar and Leveria Etta Clawson France.

Donna lived in Porterville, Morgan County for 42 years, moving to Ogden in 1979.

Due to a medical condition, she was unable to complete high school, later in life she went back to school graduating in 1965 from Morgan High. She was very proud of this accomplishment.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had been a member of the Relief Society.

Her hobbies include baking, painting, and embroidery, going out to eat, going to plays, and going different places.

Surviving are her sisters, Evelyn (Cecil) Martin and Theone (Marian) Spackman; nephews, Earnest (Dawn) and Harold (Penny) Martin; nieces, Dellalee (Morris) Forsgren, Bertha (Larry) Buck and Shirley (Larry) Howard; many great-nephews and nieces and many great-great-nephews and nieces.

She was preceded in death by her parents and brother Vernon.

Graveside services will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 at 11 a.m. at South Morgan Cemetery, 355 South State, Morgan. Friends may visit family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday from 9 to 10 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.

The family would like to thank Washington Terrace Care and Rehab staff, Inspiration Hospice, Dr. Brannick Riggs and Dr. Steven Scharmann for their kindness, love and excellent care of Donna.
