Donald Arthur Mosher, age 78, passed away peacefully on October 21, 2025, in Layton, Utah.

Don was born to Arthur and Jean Mosher in Ogden, UT and spent his life deeply devoted to his family, country, and community. On April 18, 1970, he married the love of his life, Margaret J. Wilmot, at Saint Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Layton, Utah. Together, they built a beautiful life filled with love, laughter, and lasting memories.

A proud veteran, Don served in the United States Marine Corps during Vietnam as an Air Traffic Controller. He retired from air traffic control with the Federal Aviation Administration in 1997 while also earning his military retirement with the Utah Air National Guard. His dedication to service was matched only by his love for adventure. Over the years, he lived in several places including Logan, UT, Clearfield UT, Syracuse, UT, Denver, CO, Kaysville, UT, and ultimately Layton, Utah, making lifelong friends along the way.

Don graduated from Clearfield High in 1965, he enjoyed road trips, sailing, reading, and spending time with friends and family. He especially treasured every moment spent spoiling his grandchildren.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 55 years, Margaret J. Mosher; his children, Jeremy (Ramanda) Mosher, Cody (Jennifer) Mosher, and Kimberly (Michael) Hadley; and his grandchildren, Alexis Mosher, David Hadley, Josh (Lex) Mosher, Lynzi Hadley, Jack Mosher, Henry Mosher, Savannah Mosher, and Riley Mosher

.Don is also survived by his siblings: Dune Hempleman, Chris Orlob, Arthur Mosher, Barry Mosher, and Tracy Mosher.

Friends may visit with family Saturday, October 25th, from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Rd. Layton, Utah, followed by Graveside Services at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist’s Wasatch Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Rd. South Ogden.

Following the services, friends and family are warmly invited to gather at Don and Margaret’s home to share stories, memories, and laughter in celebration of a life well lived.
