Donald Johnson

Donald (Don) Johnson was suddenly taken away from us on Wednesday July 13, 2016. Don was born on the 23rd of December 1929 to his parents Clifford and Iola (Dancer) Johnson in Werner, North Dakota. On August 4, 1956 he married Barbara Ash, 60 years! Don served the Navy for 20 years and retired September 6, 1966. Recent years Don loved to travel, create beautiful leather artwork, inspire and make people smile

Don is survived by his wife, Barbara; his daughter, Diana Newton (Richard); two sons David Johnson (Terrie) and Clifford Johnson; his two brothers Richard (Gloria), and Clifford (Linda); 10 loving grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren

He was preceded in death by his parents, his two sisters Delores Moore and Laverne Williams.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Saturday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary.
