Don Lee Billmire

Don L. Billmire passed away Friday, December 7, 2012 after a valiant battle with lung cancer at age 61.

He was born in Utah to Emma Marie and Don Le Roy Billmire.

Don was a proud Vietnam Era Veteran, serving in the US Navy for eight years.

He was currently employed as a mechanic at Hill Air Force Base where he was employed since 1978. Don had a passion for music and enjoyed traveling to concerts and following his favorite bands.

He loved the outdoors and sports particularly the Raiders football, he was an avid fan.

Don married the love of his life, Karen Huddleston, on May 21, 2010.

He is survived by his wife, Karen; his father, Don Billmire (Jeannie); his children, Donald (Nicole), Emily (Jeff) Higginson, Derek (Shamra), Trenton (Corina); stepchildren, Katie, Cory (Raechal), Matthew Dabling, Melissa (Dale) Kawai; and 11 grandchildren. Also surviving are his siblings, Steven, Mark, Joy and Tad.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Marie Billmire and sister, Gay.
