Dirk Hogan

With hearts full of love and sorrow, we share the passing of Dirk D. Hogan on February 20, 2026. He now joins his father and a son who went before him.

Dirk’s legacy lives on through his mother Ruth Ann; his siblings Roger, Julie, Kelly, and Joni; and his beloved wife Laurie. His children—Eliza, Emilee, Chelsea, and Dirk Jr.

He welcomed Gordon, Telle’Rae, Stacey, and Ian into his life and heart as his own.

Dirk leaves behind eight grandchildren and two great‑grandchildren, each a bright light in his life that brought him immense joy.

To Dirk, family was never conditional or divided; it was absolute. A heartfelt mention goes to Lucy, who stayed loyally by his side.

A gathering in Dirk’s honor will take place March 3, 2026 from 12:00 – 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary, 727 N 400 E., followed by a graveside service at 2:00 p.m. at the Bountiful Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, take a moment to practice your sand shot—Dirk always insisted it was the easiest shot in golf, and he’d want you to smile while doing it.
