Diane A. Hodges, 76, passed away peacefully in the early morning hours of Thursday, June 5, 2025, at Avamere Assisted Living in South Ogden. She was born on February 9, 1949, at the Dee Hospital in Ogden, Utah, to Thomas Harold and Vietta Layton Allen. Diane graduated from Clearfield High School in 1967 and then attended Painter’s Beauty College in Ogden, Utah.
She married Don Westenskow and they later divorced. She then married Tom Hodges.
Diane worked as a beautician her whole life, first at the Bon Marche and later as a manager of the salon at JC Penney’s in the Ogden City Mall. She then opened her own salon at her home in Washington Terrace.
She enjoyed golfing and was a member of the golfing association at Valley View and later Sun Hills. In her journey through life, she touched the lives of many. Her friends were numerous.
Diane is survived by her daughter, Stephanie (Paul) Mamo of Florida; granddaughter, Presli Martinez (Demitri Haddad) of America Fork, UT; grandson, Mason (Tori) Martinez of Portland, OR; stepson, Troy (Jamie) Hodges; stepdaughter, Tara Hodges Williams; several grandchildren; her sisters, Judy (Alan) Porter of Brigham City, UT; and Jane (Wilkes) Walker of Layton, UT; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; and nephew, Ryan.
Diane requested no viewing or funeral. A Celebration of Dianes life will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 2 to 4 p.m.at the Community Center at Lindquist’s Office Building, 3434 Washington Blvd.
Interment, Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd.
