Diana Ruth Lindeman

November 13, 1941 — July 4, 2024

Diana Ruth Lindeman was called home to her Heavenly Father on July 4, 2024, at the age of 82, surrounded by her family. Leaving behind a legacy of love and friendship.

Born on November 13, 1941, to her parents Garfield Leroy Roach and Ruth Wiggill, Diana's life was marked by a profound dedication to her family and an unwavering passion for various hobbies and interests. She was known not only for her talents but also for her kind nurturing spirit.

Diana was married to Russell G. Lindeman in the Salt Lake LDS Temple on January 13, 1961. They lived for a brief time in Everett, Washington, eventually settling down in Layton, Utah. Her vibrant life centered around her role as a loving homemaker where she poured her heart into creating crafts, clothes, quilts, baby blankets, and more, showcasing her creativity and attention to detail. Her love for the outdoors led her to enjoy camping and nature, with many family trips to the Uinta Mountains and Yellowstone, finding solace in the beauty of nature. Diana had a love for canning fruit, baking breads, and crafting intricately decorated wedding cakes, that she blessed many friends and family with. Her enthusiasm for genealogy resonated deeply as she dedicated time to research and preserve her family's heritage.

A proud member of the church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Diana actively participated in her church callings, and community through her involvement with Relief Society, and Daughters of Utah Pioneers. Her commitment to faith and service left a lasting impact on those around her.

In this time of sorrow, Diana is survived by her devoted husband Russell G. Lindeman; her children John Lindeman (Virginia) Arizona, Julie Halling (Deon) Layton, Utah; James Lindeman (Norma) Layton, Utah; Jacob Lindeman (Candyce) Syracuse, Utah; Jeremy Lindeman Layton, Utah; sister Jalene Biggs, Idaho; brother Ronny Roach, sister Lana Perry; 14 grandkids, 5 great-grandkids.

Preceded in death by her brother, G.W. Roach (Sandra) of South Jordan, Utah.

The family wishes to thank the caring individuals at Holy Cross Davis Hospital for their support.
