DeWayne D. Sill

SYRACUSE a€" DeWayne D. Sill, 70, passed away Wednesday, January 11, 2012 at his home.

He was born August 3, 1941 in Layton, Utah the son of LeLand C. and Montie Jay Sill.

DeWayne married Patsy Nye on December 21, 1957 in Sunset, Utah.

He was a member of the LDS Church.

DeWayne worked at HAFB for 20 years and was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 3 for 15 years.

He loved hunting, fishing, truck pulling, snowmobiling, and his garden.

Surviving are his wife Patsy, Syracuse; sons, Rick D. (Bonnie) Sill, Ronnie K. Sill, Troy L. (Monica) Sill, Jeff S. Sill, Brandon D. Sill, 16 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, two sisters, Beverly Roberts and Joan Gessel.

Preceded in death by his parents, brother Jay, son Kevin, and brother-in-law, Gorden Hill.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Lindquist''s Kaysville Mortuary, 400 North Main. Friends may visit family on Monday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Tuesday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Kaysville City Cemetery.
