Dennis Earl Neuteboom

DENNIS EARL NEUTEBOOM

November 6, 1939 – May 5, 2023

Dennis Earl Neuteboom passed away on May 1, 2023 at his home in Bountiful, Utah.  He was born on November 6, 1939 in Ogden, Utah to Earl and Virginia Butler Neuteboom.  He attended West High School and graduated in 1958; he also attended the University of Utah.

He was an All-State High School Athlete in football, basketball, and baseball. He was later drafted by the Pittsburgh Pirates Major League Baseball team and played one year in the minor leagues as a catcher/third baseman.

Dennis was an U.S. Army veteran.

On May 19, 1961, he married Kay Vance.  They moved to Bountiful, Utah in 1967; and have resided there since that time.  

Dennis is survived by his wife, Kay Neuteboom; two sons:  Dennis (Allison) Neuteboom, and Mike (Donette) Neuteboom; three granddaughters:  Elizabeth, Lindsee (Nick Barton), and Nichole (Cash); one great-granddaughter, Journey; and two sisters:  Shirley and Vicki.
