Dennis P Morgan

On April 3, 2026, Dennis P Morgan passed away at home in his sleep after struggling for years with several strokes and two different types of cancer.

He was born on March 9, 1950, in Ogden, Utah to John Douglas Morgan and Vera Parker Parkinson. After graduating from Ben Lomond High School in 1969, he started his career with Hill Air Force Base as an Aircraft Mechanic and retired after 35 years of civil service. During his career he met many lifelong friends.

On September 1,1971, he married Kristy Herrick. Together they enjoyed several hobbies which included racing pigeons, racing horses, bird watching, and fishing. He was a member of the Golden Spike Gem and Mineral Society. Dennis was an avid rock collector. He enjoyed many hours in campgrounds with good friends and family talking rocks and planning the next trip. Survived by his wife; his son, Justin; his daughter, Rhenn; his sister, Janet Morgan; his sister-in-law, Linda Morgan; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; his step-father, Lawrence Poppleton; and siblings, LeRoy, Kenneth, and George Lavon.
