With heavy hearts and deep gratitude for a life built on hard work, loyalty and enduring love, we sadly announce the passing of Denny (Dennis Craig Howey Jr), our warrior who fought cancer so bravely until his final breath on March 1, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.
Denny was born May 30, 1973, in Bountiful Utah. He was preceded in death by his father Dennis "Craig" Howey, his Grandma Jake, Grandpa Roger and Grandma Mildred (Howey) He leaves behind his mother Shauna Howey Fox, father Ron Fox, brothers Chris (Megan) Howey, Mike Howey, Jeremy (Erin) Howey, Jessie (Tiffany) Fox, Justin Fox, Danny Fox and sister Sheila Fox, many loved Aunts, Uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, his Grandpa Jake and many friends.
Denny worked for Albertsons and Smiths for 37 years. He also owned a cleaning service business for 30 years, which he worked by himself until he was too ill.
We can't forget his favorite pastime going to Wendover with his brother Mike, Heather, Friends, Aunts and Uncles, seeing who could "win" or "lose" the biggest jackpot!! He also enjoyed staying at his brother Chris's "Howey Oasis" with all his brothers and friends in Vegas.
Denny's legacy will carry on forever reminding us that we control our attitudes...he lived his life of meaningful acts of kindness, love, integrity, honesty and making people "laugh". Denny will be missed beyond measure and loved beyond time.
We'd like to thank the co-workers and Management at Smiths / Kroger, who cared deeply and took care of Denny. Also, to Huntsman Hospital for the care to comfort Denny during hospitalization before he asked to go home to prepare for his next journey. And another thanks to the Hospice Teams with Huntsman Home Care / CNS for their comforting care.
Please join us Monday, March 9, 2026, at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary (727 N 400 E, Bountiful Utah), 9:30 am to 11:30 am to View and Celebrate our Denny, followed by a graveside dedication (12:00 pm) at Bountiful City Cemetery (2224 S 200 W Bountiful).
We love you Denny
