Dennis David Carr

Dennis David Carr, 67, passed away on Sunday, May 11, 2025. He was born to Allen and Hellen Flower Carr on April 13, 1958, in Ogden, Utah. He grew up in Ogden and graduated from Ogden High School Class of 1976. He attended Weber State University where he earned an Associate degree. He was proud to serve his country in the Army.

Dennis married Annette Carver on May 22, 1981, in Ogden, Utah. They would have celebrated 44 years together on the 22nd of May. They enjoyed long talks and raising a family together.

Dennis worked as a custodian for 22 years for the Weber County School District. He also was EMT with Golden Cross ambulance for many years.

He enjoyed music and playing guitar, collecting coins and railroad memorabilia. He is known for his jokes, bursting into songs and knowledge of military aviation.

Dennis is survived by his loving wife, Annette; children, Dylan Carr, James Carr, Andrew (Ashleigh) Carr, and Lisa (Scott) Odekirk; 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild; siblings, Larry Carr and Fran (Richard) Bush. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Hellen; and siblings, Pat (Wayne) Bitton, Wally (Janelle) Carr, and Barbra (Brent) Stephens.

Friends may visit with family on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
