Delpha Jean Greaves Allen our beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her family on November 26, 2022 in South Ogden, UT. She was born on July 30 1927 in Preston, Idaho to John Card Greaves and Mary Jane Pendleton.

Delpha married Jack Curtis Allen on November 6, 1954, in Ogden, Utah. They enjoyed 57 years together.

She was a Nurse at Dee Hospital until they moved to the new McKay Dee Hospital, she was the Head Nurse on the Surgical floor and also the Orthopedic Floor, she worked for almost 40 years. She was very proud to be to be a part of the Nursing Profession and was well respected.

Delpha was a working mother when most mothers were homemakers. When she needed to go to the girls school she would come dressed in full nurses uniform, the girls were very proud to say “That’s my mom”.

Jack and Delpha enjoyed many activities together including, bowling, dancing, games with friends and traveling to many different countries. She was a member of the Ogden Athletic Club where she enjoyed aerobics, weights and swimming only stopping when the Pandemic hit.

She loved going to lunch with friends, daughters, and grandkids until the very end.
