Dee F. Boyer

OGDEN - Dee F. Boyer, age 62, passed away of natural causes on Saturday, February 25, 2012.

He was born October 22, 1949, in Coalville, the son Fay W. Boyer and Fern Jones Boyer.

Dee attended special education schools in Ogden and worked at Enable Industries until 2000.

In 2000, Dee was involved in an auto-pedestrian accident in Ogden and sustained critical injuries. With his fighting spirit and much love from his mother, he returned to walking and lived a happy life at home.

In earlier years, he was just one of the boys, won many special Olympic medals, loved to bowl, ride his bike and outdoor activities. He loved the Lawrence Welk show and would dance to the music and liked all the great western movies. He spent time daily coloring, painting and writing. He brought much love and happiness to his family and friends.

Surviving are his four brothers, Gary (Peggy) Boyer; Greg (Debbie) Boyer; Stephen (Joy) Boyer and Brent (Julee) Boyer, all of Ogden. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Coalville LDS Stake Center, 40 N. Main, Coalville, UT. Friends may visit family on Saturday from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. at the church. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd. Interment, Coalville Cemetery.
