Deborah Louise Hope

Deborah Louise Hope, 61, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2017.  She was born on February 18, 1956 in Grand Junction, Colorado, the daughter of Carl Vern and Betty Virginia Dean Smith.  She lived in Grand Junction and Denver, Colorado before moving to Ogden, Utah where she resided the last 45 years of her life.

Deborah married Craig Reid Hope on May 9, 1981; they recently celebrated 36 years of marriage.

Deborah enjoyed crocheting, gardening and never missed an episode of ‘Days of Our Lives’.  Her greatest joy was spending time with her family.

Deborah is survived by her husband, Craig of Ogden; son, Sam Swenson (Kipperly Black) of Clearfield; daughters, Athena Hope (Lance Jackson) and Shana (Greg) Gibson both of Ogden; three grandchildren, Logan, Matrim, and Aviendha; brothers, Carl Mike Smith and Darrell Shoemaker.  She was preceded in death by her parents, Carl Vern Smith and Betty Dinsmore and sister, Kimala Kay Pickel.

Join us in remembrance of Deborah’s life on May 25, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
