David Robert Thirkill "Gone Fishing"

CLEARFIELD a€" David Robert Thirkill, 58, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2008.

He was born December 7, 1949 in Ogden, Utah to Robert E. Thirkill and Barbara Sweeten Garvey. He graduated from Bonneville High School and had lived in California and Arizona for most of his life.

David married Sandra Epperson and they were later divorced.

He was a member of the LDS Church.

David loved fishing, coaching high school football and baseball.

He is survived by a son Christopher (Jessica) Thirkill, AZ; a daughter, Shantel Thirkill, CA; a step-son, Jeremiah (Lily) Campbell, CA; his mother, Barbara (Bob) Garvey, Ogden; and two sisters, Cindy (Glenn) Wixom, Roy; and Colette (Craig) Anderson, West Point.

He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Graveside services will be held Tuesday, August 12th at 11:00 a.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Height''s Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., with Bishop Percy Hess, officiating.

Friends and family may call Tuesday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
