David Brian Langford

David Langford, 66, passed away from heart failure, a complication of diabetes on November 26, 2012 in his final home at Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation. Dave was born in Ogden, Utah on October 11, 1946, the eldest son of Fount J. and Loving H. Langford of Ogden, Utah.

He graduated with a BS from Weber State College and served his country in the US Army Reserves during the Vietnam era.

Dave dearly loved the outdoors, river running, nature, photography, music, books, history, maps a€" and people a€" his family, friends, employees, supervisors and co-workers. He was truly a "people person." Dave was a caring individual, the quid essential "good guy."

He enjoyed a wonderful career in the sporting goods industry as a manager and district manager for Kmart Sporting Goods and as a regional sales manager for the Coleman Company. He also worked at Coldwell Banker, Media Play and after sustaining a physical leg disability for the IRS.

Dave is survived by his brother Kirk S. Langford and his sister-in-law and dear friend Barbara Jean (Beje) Bohannan.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fount and Lovina Langford.

Graveside services will be held on Monday, December 3, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Lindquist''s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd., followed by a reception at Kirk and Beje''s home in Eden, Utah.

Thanks to his doctors, providers and to the wonderful staff of caregivers at Mt. Ogden Health and Rehabilitation for taking such good care of David.
