David Lee Christiansen

David Lee Christiansen peacefully passed away on September 26, 2025. He was born on July 20, 1941, in Ogden, Utah, to Gladys West and Howard Christiansen, the youngest of four boys.

David married Janice Moser, later divorced, and Connie Stuart Hendry, later divorced.

David devoted many years of his professional life to Hill Air Force Base, where he worked diligently until his retirement. His commitment to service extended beyond his career; he proudly served in the United States Army, illustrating his dedication to his country.

Education was important to David; he graduated from Ogden High School and furthered his studies at Weber State University.

In addition to his career and education, David had a diverse range of hobbies and interests that brought joy to his life. He was an avid golfer, enjoyed bowling, and found pleasure in playing pool, loved fast cars, and playing cards. These activities not only provided him with enjoyment and gratification but also enabled him to forge cherished lifelong friendships.

David Lee Christiansen leaves behind a legacy of hard work, service, and a spirit that was fondly remembered by all who knew him. His presence will be deeply missed, yet his memory will continue to inspire those whose lives he touched throughout his journey.

David is survived by his daughter, Kimberly (Ed) Palmer; two grandsons, Jake and Hunter; two beautiful great-granddaughters, Alauni and Avyana whom he adored; and his brother, Paul Christiansen,

A special thank you to the staff at Chancellor Gardens, Hidden Valley Assisted Living and Symbii Home Health and Hospice for the compassionate, dignified care they provided over the past two years.

Graveside services will be held Thursday, October 2, 2025, at 2 p.m., at Lindquist’s Washington Heights Memorial Park, 4500 Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at Lindquist’s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd.
