Danny Hansen

Daniel “Danny” Douglas Hansen, born on July 7, 1988, in Bountiful, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on November 30, 2024.

Danny came into this world larger than life. My beautiful, brown-eyed boy who made me a mom, was ready to take on the world. He raised me as much as I raised him, teaching me to love unconditionally. His smile and infectious laughter always made the sun shine brighter and, chased the clouds away. He loved with all his heart and was a fierce protector, especially of those he held dear.

Danny had an amazing sense of humor and was always able to laugh at himself. I spent his entire life trying to find ways to embarrass him, but he would just laugh and roll with it. He was incredibly smart and loved to argue because he was always convinced, he was right!

Danny was an adrenaline junkie who lived life hard and fast, always on the go. He found happiness in driving fast, debating, and fighting. He had a deep love for football and was a die-hard Steelers fan.

He formed many lifelong friendships he considered as family. Even if years had passed, Danny would reconnect with people as if no time had gone by. His biggest fear was losing his mom and best friend, Amy Tingey. He often said he couldn’t survive without her. Now, baby boy, you never have to.

Danny is survived by his loving mom, Amy Tingey, and his stepdad, Steven Tingey; his brothers and sisters, David Tingey, William McKoy, Steven Tingey Jr., Kadence Tingey, Richard Tycksen, Kyzer Tingey, Alex Hansen, Heaven Tingey, Desteny Tingey, Lacy (Sheldon) Beltran, Zoe Rosenstein, and Maryanne Tycksen. He also leaves behind his grandparents, Douglas and Bobbie Hess, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, and uncles.

Danny is now reunited with his baby brothers, Douglas and Drake Tingey, likely teaching them all about the Steelers and why they are the best—no, the only team!

Danny has chosen to continue his life through organ donation followed by cremation. He was able to save many others with his selfless gift.

Friends may visit with family Wednesday December 11, 2024, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Thursday 12:30 to 1:30 at Lindquist’s Bountiful Mortuary 727 N. 400 E. Bountiful, Utah, followed by funeral services, Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 2:00 pm.
