“My kids are my greatest gift, forever blessed to have Kathy as my wife.”

50 reasons we love you!

You take me hunting
You wear the same pair of shoes your entire life
You never fail to see if we are okay
Goofball
You come to all my sports events no matter what
Tells me all his same stories
You open doors for me
When you swear every time after you sneeze
You love Pudge (and let her inside)
You always go buy things for me
I like when you tuck your garments behind your head
You pay for my gas
You work so hard
Your crocs
You get on me for my grades
Just kinda an okay shot with your bow
You are always willing to help anyone
You talk to me about hunting
You love me even after all the mistakes I’ve made
Give the best advice
You have the biggest loving heart
You help me with my truck
I love when you smile
You put gas in my car
You work hard everyday
“That's just what you look like”
Best grandpa ever
You are so dedicated to having a healthier life
Gives me hugs
Showed me how to be gentleman
Supports me through all my sports
Super funny
You raised us all to be good kids
You keep me warm
Biggest example to our family
You never give up
You love us no matter what
(drawing from Bex)
Good hair
You love Chloe
You are tall
Biggest support
You get up and go to work every day
Thanks for letting me date your daughter
Will always say a prayer when we ask
I love your unfailing testimony
You raised semi-attractive kids
Yell into your phone for texts
You pick up our flowers for dances
Best snap chats

The world lost an amazing grandpa, dad, husband, son, brother & friend. Dan was born on November 4, 1969 in Ogden, Utah to David and Susan Jolley Winger. He was the second born of eight children. Dan grew up in Clinton, Utah and graduated from Clearfield High in 1988. He served a mission in New York, New York for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.

Dan married his best friend and the love of his life (after chasing her to the ends of the earth) Kathy Sorenson on September 25, 1992 in the Manti, Utah Temple. They were blessed with seven children; Bethany (Billy), Mallory (Austin), Brandon, Megan, Kendra, Jessica, Jackson and his honorary daughter Melissa. Proud grandpa of Bexlee and Briggs - They were the sunshine of his life!

Nothing in life was more important to Dan than his family. He loved playing with his grandchildren, spending time with his kids and his wife. He spent years coaching his kids and many days on the mountain hunting and fishing with his family and friends. He spent his career in the construction field as a carpenter, working with his brothers and has been so proud and honored to be a part of the Wadman Family as a Superintendent for the last 17 years.

Dan is survived by his wife, children, grandchildren, his parents, his beloved mother-in-law Penny Sorenson, his brothers and sisters Davy (Sheila), Dennis (Angie), Sharla (Jason), Agusta (Brian), Amy (Elvin), Annie, Amanda (Chad); Lori, Marty, Kristin, John (Diane), Mike (Diane), Matt (Neeley), Kelly (Clay), and Kim (Carlos); his lifelong friend Wade, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his son Brandon and they are now reunited after spending 9 long years apart and his father-in-law, John.

We’d like to give a special thanks to his Wadman family, the ward family, and all of our wonderful neighbors and friends. Thank you for your continued love and support; every gesture is felt and appreciated.
