Dalton James Ehmann
March 18, 1999 ~ May 14, 2021
Our kind and loving boy, Dalton, passed away On May 14, 2021. He was born March 18, 1999 in Ogden, UT to Robb and Shari Ehmann. He attended Weber High School graduating in 2017 and was working in Yellowstone.
Dalton loved soccer. He loved playing as a kid and attending RSL games. He would talk to his dad and mom daily about teams, players, goals and Manchester United. He enjoyed attending Comic Con, listening to music-especially The Weeknd, and most recently Marty Robbins. He loved attending concerts and playing video games and ginger ale. He enjoyed acting and was in a short movie at one time. He loved his cat, Diva.
Few things were more important to Dalton than his friends and while working in Yellowstone in 2020 he found his people. Logan, James, “Bald” Logan, Bella, Connor, Billy, Aaron, Hannah, Carly, Ashton and Juan. Together they explored the park, took trips across the country and had experiences Dalton cherished. It was truly the best time of his life. The family would also like to mention and thank his dear friend Katie Shaw, whom Dalton loved and considered his best friend; and his other “brother”, Cameron Buchanan.
Dalton has three sisters that adored him; constantly watched over him and loved him. He and McKelle had a unique and special bond their whole lives and were always there for each other.
Dalton was preceded in death by his grandparents, David Hodson, Charles and Myrle Ehmann and great-grandma, LaRue Moore; our family dog, Mia and his fish, Flippers Dave.
He is survived by his parents, Robb and Shari Ehmann; his sisters Kylee, Jaylen (Cody) and McKelle; his nieces, Remi and Lucy; his grandmother, Connie Smith-Sessions and many uncles, aunts and cousins who will miss his bright smile and big hugs.
Buddy you are free from the pain and difficulties that at times were overwhelming for you and a world that didn’t seem to fit you. Although you couldn’t see it, you were the light in our lives and the lives of so many others. You are truly loved. We are hopeful you are with God and your grandparents and that we will see and hold you again someday.
