Dale Roy Hartley

Dale Roy Hartley, 78, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2022 from complications of congestive heart failure. 

He was born September 2, 1944 in Ogden, Utah to Owen Roy Hartley and Elna Pinkham.

In 1974, Dale married Rose Marie Chavez. She preceded him in death December 14, 1991. 

He was obsessed with sports and his favorite teams were the New York Yankees and the Pittsburgh Steelers. He loved to work in his yard and especially loved his two Boston Terriers.

Dale is survived by his children, Buckel (Sara) Hartley, Clinton; Laurie (Kelly) Moore, Pleasant View; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers, Ron (Lois) Hartley, Farr West; Leon Hartley, South Ogden; and one sister, Janiel Haywood, North Ogden. 

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, Owen Hartley and Elna Braithwaite.

Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at the Hooper Cemetery.
