Cossette Hoskins Crosby 1918-2012

Cossette Hoskins Crosby, 93, passed away Saturday, January 7, 2012 at her home in Bountiful, Utah.

She was born June 2, 1918 in Portage, Utah the daughter of William O. and Mary Ellen Moon Hoskins. Graduated from Bear River High School, attended LDS Business College and graduated from Westminster College. She married Harvey F. Crosby on October 18, 1941 and later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.

Cossette served as director of Institutional Accounts Social Services and later retired from the IRS. She was active in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in various positions in the Sunday School. She had the natural ability to serve and draw people to her. She enjoyed ceramics but most of all she enjoyed her family.

She is survived by her husband Harvey and two sons Arnold Crosby and Brent Hoskins Crosby, seven grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by her parents, son Michael Forbes Crosby, four great-grandchildren, two brothers Earl and Ervin Hoskins and sister Eva Holtman.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 pm, Friday, January 13, 2012 at the Mueller Park 4th Ward, 2050 S. 1300 E. Bountiful, Utah where friends may visit from 10:45-11-45 am prior to services. Interment Bountiful City Cemetery. Services entrusted to Lindquist''s Bountiful Mortuary.
