OGDEN a€" Cordelia Angela Valdez, 73, died Tuesday, April 24, 2007 at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful of causes incident to age.

She was born October 19, 1933 in Monero, New Mexico, a daughter of Elias and Margaret Atencio Valdez.

She was a member of St. Joseph''s Catholic Church.

Cordelia enjoyed her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She also enjoyed walking, cooking and ceramic crafts.

Surviving are two sons and four daughters, David Montoya, Elias Valdez, Sheila (Jake) Trujillo, Sally (Ernesto) Dominguez, Sandra Gomez and Shirley (Mark) Montes, all of Ogden; 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren.

Also surviving is one brother, Ernesto Valdez, Ogden.

She was preceded in death by her parents and one granddaughter, Sophie Gallegos.

The family gives special thanks for South Davis Community Hospital and Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful.

Funeral Mass will be held Monday at 10 a.m. at St. Joseph''s Catholic Church, 514 a€" 24th Street.

Friends may call at Lindquist''s Ogden Mortuary, 3408 Washington Blvd., on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. where Holy Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m.

Interment, Lindquist''s Memorial Gardens of the Wasatch, 1718 Combe Road.
