Connie Mallet of Bountiful Utah passed away June 1, 2025 after an illness.
Connie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Connie was born September 14, 1938 in Morgan County Utah to Howard and Ella Allen and grew up in the Layton area. Connie attended Davis High School in Kaysville, Utah where she met the love of her life Jay Mallet, whom she married January 28, 1958 in Elko, Nevada. They were married for 60 years and lived in Bountiful Utah.
Connie worked in the construction industry for most of her life starting as a secretary and eventually working her way to Vice President of Howa Construction where she worked for over 40 years retiring in the summer of 2005. Connie enjoyed shopping, gardening, traveling, and painting.
Surviving family members are: Daughter, Anne Spain; Sisters, Gayle Reed (Dale Reed) Terrie Larsen; Grandchildren, Christopher Spain (KerriLee Spain) Whitney England (Tyler England); and Great Grandchildren, McKenzie England, Emma England, and Wyatt Spain.
A graveside service will be held at Bountiful City Cemetery June 11, 2025 at 11 a.m. for family and close friends.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to either cancer or dementia research.
