Conner was born in Ogden Utah to his parents Colleen Robley and James Young. He is preceded in death by Aunts, Uncles, and grandparents (paternal). He is survived by his grandparents Ray (Darlene) Wright, Mother Colleen Wright Robley, and father James Young, brother’s Brock (Grace) Young and Tyler (Charlie) Young, stepsisters Tracey Sermon (Tony), Ashley Robley, as well as a special relationship with his Aunt and Uncle Brent (Kelly) Wright and girlfriend Reagan Bradford, as well as many, many family members and amazing friends who are devastated by this loss.
Conner graduated from Roy High in 2021. He grew up in Roy, and then moved to Layton with his grandparents. He worked for the IRS as a Tax Examiner, as well as a caregiver for his grandparents. But for Conner taking care of his grandparents was not a job, it was Conner in a nutshell, he would give anyone the shirt off his back, the last dollar he had, and the last bite of food if it meant that someone else was taken care of. He was the epitome of light and life in this world, he cared about others above himself. Conner believed himself to be the supporting character in others stories, and by doing so he became the main character, he loved so deeply and if he loved you, you knew it! His laughter was contagious, his smile brightened any dark moment.
When asked about Conner; his friends had these things to say:
Colleen (Mom): “He was my fiercest protector, my mini me, my best friend, and the most amazing human.”
Tyler Chatelain: “I remember one night he called and said ‘Hey man, do you want tacos. I’m in the area and bringing tacos’” Conner would show up out of the blue just be present.
Katarinna Wallace: “He was the Robin to my Raven”
Brock Young: “he was the best friend I could have asked for, but more than that being his brother was the greatest privilege of my life”
Reagan Bradford: “Conner was the most kind, gentle, funny, patient, and generous person I have ever had the honor of loving. He was such a light in my life and always made my day just by talking to me. I’ll forever miss his goofy laugh and cute smile”
Paige Wood: “Conner told me he never felt so free until riding his motorcycle.”
Mallorie June: “Conner was such a light in my life and one of the greatest friends I had.”
Lily Gutierrez: “This world needed him in all our lives, he was an inspiration to all of us and touched all of our hearts”
Esperanza Sudea: “He is one of the most amazing friends I’ve ever had, he was one of the kindest, funniest, and most genuine people I have ever known. He always shined so brightly, his smile made everything better and something I will always cherish”
There were so many friends and people in Conner’s life that has reached out to us, and shared so many amazing memories, we wish we could include everyone.
“I’m here to give you hugs and kisses on the forehead cause I’m, I’m, I love you” – Conner Young
