Clair Elizabeth (Beck) Brakey

Clair Elizabeth (Beck) Brakey passed away July 12, 2022 at the age of 72  in her home in Layton, Utah. She was born January 9, 1950 to Margaret (Mooney)Beck and Robert Beck of Layton, Utah. 

Clair graduated from Davis High School in Kaysville Utah in 1969. 

Clair was an extremely independent woman. She held positions in a supervisor or managerial position all of her working life. 

She fell in love and married Patrick Brakey in 1974.

Proceeded in death by her husband Pat Brakey, parents Margaret and Robert Beck, her sister Maryjane Mahan and her beloved fur babies .

She is survived by siblings Margo (Romero) Roberta (Quigley) and brother Robert (Beck), nieces and nephews, Julie (Lance) Moon, Christine Romero, Marty Flowers, Mark Mahan, Matthew Mahan.

Great nieces and nephews Mariah Salas, Miranda Salas, Grayson Thibeault, Dawson Flowers and Darshawn Flowers

Those who knew Clair know how insistent she was. To honor her wishes there will not be a service, instead she asked that we remember her by having a beer.
