The Angel Wears Prada! On June 23, 1988, a beautiful light entered the world and for almost 34 years we were blessed with an angel among us.
On May 7, 2022, Chelsea Marie Petersen departed her Earthly home and was welcomed back to the loving embrace of our Father in Heaven. Free from pain for the first time in over a decade. Chels is listening to Dashboard Confessional and Hobo Johnson, rewatching Tangled for the millionth time, Court TV, (#freejohnnny), Door Dashing, and eating to her hearts content (tamales with husks on and Chinese food, of course), snuggling with Caesar (don’t tell Millie), driving a Prius, reading anything by P.C. Her voice, piano skills, unconditional love, ability to listen, desire to learn, and talent as an accomplished dancer is blessing the lives of many in the beautiful afterlife, she knows exists.
Countless memories help fill the void in our hearts and remind us of the beautiful daughter, mother, sister, niece, cousin, and friend we’ve lost. We find solace in her contribution to the medical community throughout the state of Utah and nation. Her greatest desire is a cure for this terrible disease, that took her from us at such a
Chelsea lives on through her children, Micah and Maili. She is survived by her parents, Gary and Sherri Petersen, Syracuse, Utah; brothers, Zachary (Alyson) Petersen, South Jordan, Utah, and Tye (April) Petersen, West Haven, Utah; and grandparents, Gary and Ann Petersen, Woods Cross, Utah, and Gary and Marie Noll, Springville, Utah. She is also survived by too many aunts, uncles, and cousins to count.
