It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Chad Thomas Hull II, a beloved husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. He passed away on June 6, 2025, at the age of 50. Chad was born on February 22,1975 at Hill Air Force Base to Chad Thomas Hull and Beverly Jean Hull. He was raised in South Ogden where he played baseball and took over the neighborhood with his best friends in the summer. He also lived for a brief time in Aptos California where he played basketball and formed lifelong friendships in both places. He graduated from Bonneville High School and later earned a bachelor’s degree in Sales and Service Technologies from Weber State University.
Chad married Amy Dinsdale on September 26, 2003, and built a life together in Layton, Utah. In 2005, Chad’s greatest adventure began: fatherhood. The birth of his son, Caden, brought him endless pride, especially when watching him play golf. That joy doubled when they played together and could share a good laugh over their round. In 2014, his daughter Brynn arrived, proving that miracles do happen. Her smile is contagious. Nothing brought him more pride than his children.
Chad had a deep love for the outdoors and traveled with his father to the Uintah and Colorado Mountains often. He cherished time spent hunting and telling colorful stories around the campfire with friends and family. Chad had a giant heart and would do anything for the people he loved. He kept his circle small, but if you were a part of it, you knew you were truly loved. He was passionate about barbecue—cooking it, eating it, and talking about it. He also loved golf- morning, noon, and night—and then reliving every hole in a story afterward.
Chad is survived by his loving wife and partner Amy, his son, Caden and his daughter Brynn; his sisters, Tami Wilkinson (Richard) of Provo Utah, Shauna Larson (Jerry) of South Ogden Utah; his lifelong best friends Ryan Clawson (Mindy) South Ogden, and Corey Howell (Stephanie) Uintah, Utah; and he was “Uncle Chad” to Marquelle, Brady, Brandon, Kimberly, Tiffany, Mark, Cody and Quinton.
He was preceded in death by his parents Chad Hull and Beverly Jean Hull.
Despite the love and humor, he brought into the world, Chad faced personal challenges that he fought bravely. His struggle is a reminder of the importance of mental health awareness and support.
To the love of my life, I will miss you more than you can ever know. I know that you are finally at peace and are watching over us because you never wanted to miss a thing!
