Carole Jean Beardall Ivie, 91, passed away on Saturday, February 7, 2026, in Clearfield, Utah. She was born on July 5, 1934, in Spanish Fork, Utah. She was the middle child, and only daughter of  Wallace Clyde and Florence Lloyd Beardall. She grew up in Springville, Utah and graduated from Springville High.

Soon after graduation, she married her sweetheart, Richard Peterson Ivie on July 31, 1953, in the Manti Utah Temple. Soon after they were married, her husband Pete was drafted into the Army. While he was gone, Carole had their first daughter. When he returned, they had another daughter and then moved to California where they had two more daughters. Carole spent a good portion of her life in California, where she formed many lifelong friendships.

She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and served in many callings during her life, including Primary, Young Womens, and Relief Society. She and her husband Pete served in the Ogden Temple together and as Service Missionaries in inner city Ogden. Carole and her sister-in-law, Marge Beardall, served together at the Church Office Building in Salt Lake City. She was a service-oriented person.

Carole liked camping and vacationing with her family. She lived to travel and got to go to Hawaii, the UK, and Denmark. She also enjoyed going to Nauvoo and other Church History sites.

Caroled like to keep her hands busy and spent time quilting, crocheting, and embroidering. She loved making clothes for her girls when they were young and would make clothes for their dolls as well.

Her faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ was very important to her. She had a true love for her Savior and tried to follow Him. She was a true disciple of Jesus Christ.

Carole is survived by her husband, Richard P. Ivie; their four daughters, Kirsten (Jaremy), Julie (Dale), Pamela (Byron), and Jill; 15 grandchildren, 36 great-grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren; her brother, Jim (LaRue); and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Bob (Marge); and a grandson.

A graveside service for the family will be held on Friday, February 13, 2026, at Ben Lomond Cemetery, North Ogden.

In lieu of flowers a contribution to The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Humanitarian Fund would be greatly appreciated.
