Carol Adams Weidauer passed away peacefully in Kaysville, Utah on November 18, 2025. She was born April 1, 1942 to Diamond Rufus and Vilate Abplanalp Adams. She was raised on the family farm on Church Street in Layton where, working with her family, she learned to drive a truck for haying season at a young age. She lived on Church Street for most of her life and enjoyed her neighbors.

Carol graduated from Davis High School before attending Utah State University where she received both a Bachelors and Masters degree in Secondary Education. While there she was affiliated with the Alpha Chi Omega sorority house. After graduation, she taught Junior High School in the Davis County School District for several years.

After being married to her husband, Floyd Weidauer, for some years, they adopted their beautiful baby daughter Stephanie. They later divorced.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and being an accomplished pianist, she played the piano for Primary and Sunday School.

In 1960, Carol was chosen as an attendant to “Miss Layton”, an honor she has treasured. She also spent an exciting summer in Washington D.C. as a typist for Utah Senator Frank E. Moss. She loved family dinners and gatherings, conversation with friends, and discussing politics. She also liked movies, playing golf, and traveling. For many years, Carol lived with and lovingly cared for her aging mother.

She is survived by her daughter Stephanie Weidauer-King (Jeshua), Sandy, Utah, three granddaughters; Avery, Berlin, and Clementine, her brother Richard (Linda) Adams, Layton, Utah, nieces; Alison Brockbank, Barbara Evans (Eric), and Jennifer Cherrington, nephews; Gregory (Paige) Adams, Steven (Lori) Adams, and Ben (Kari) Adams.
