LAYTON a€" Carol Rose Tucker, 77, passed away Tuesday, December 27, 2011 at McKay-Dee Hospital.

She was born September 19, 1934 in Montrose, California the daughter of Albert and Ora Mae Allen Brown.

Carol married Thomas Tucker on July 25, 1952 in Montrose, California.

Together Tom and Carol raised their family in Claremont and San Clemente, California. They spent the last years in Layton, Utah with family.

She was a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.

Carol enjoyed cooking, sewing, and was interested in politics.

Surviving are her husband Thomas, Layton, UT; children: Rosemary (Darrell) Hansen, Layton, UT; Brad (Colleen) Tucker, Wildomar, CA; Therese (Joe) Wilson, Menifee, CA; Craig (Lisa) Tucker, Redlands, CA; 19 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, and brother Paul (Sherri Purkiser) Brown, Rogue River, ORE.

Preceded in death by her parents, two sisters and one brother.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 30, 2011 at 11 a.m. at the Layton Cherry Lane Ward, 1015 No. Emerald, Layton. A viewing for family and friends will be held Friday from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m. at the church. Interment, Camp Williams Cemetery, Bluffdale, Utah.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations be made to the Perpetual Education Fund of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
