Carol Faye Branch Mason

d. July 13, 2023

It is bittersweet that the family of Carol Faye (Branch) Mason announces her passing on July 13, 2023, in her 86th year, from heart failure. She has been reunited with her beloved husband, Terrence Lee Mason, who departed this life only a little over eight months ago. She will be missed but lovingly remembered by her family. Devoted mother to Vicky (David) Johnstone and Tim (Terri) Mason. Caring grandma to Amanda and step-grandma to Bryce, Brian, and Emerald. Sister to Laurie (deceased) and sister-in-law Marilyn Branch. Aunt to Bob (Irene) Branch, Jeff (Brenda) Branch, and Becky (Rick) Leclerc and their families. Preceded in death by her parents, Herm and Rene Branch.

In her early years, Carol worked as a nurse, both in Canada and the U.S. where she met her husband. Carol loves her family and devoted her life to them. She was always there for her family, especially her children. Carol loves music and was a gifted pianist with a special touch. She had a beautiful singing voice, seamlessly alternating between soprano and alto.

Carol was a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She played the organ and piano in church and was the pianist and assistant choir director for the ward choir in St. Catharines, Ontario. She was the librarian in that ward for many years and loved to serve the members. In later years, she worked with her husband to gather names for her family history and unite her family.

Carol and Terry made their home and raised their family in St. Catharines, Ontario. They built their retirement home in Clermont, Florida. Recently, they moved to Ogden, Utah. They and their family have many happy memories together.

Cremation entrusted to Lindquist's Ogden Mortuary. The family will gather at the graveside prior to interment at Victoria Lawn Cemetery in St. Catharines, Ontario.
