Brooke Arianne (Spiva) Cook

November 28, 1974 — September 25, 2022

Brook Arianne (Spiva) Cook passed away on September 25, 2022, due to complications from a motorcycle accident. Brooke was born November 28, 1974, in Thornton, Colorado to Charlie L. Spiva and Debra Lee.

Brooke grew up in Colorado raised by her grandparents and mother. She moved to Utah in 1996 where she raised her children and was married to Brody Cook in 2008. Even though Brooke and Brody divorced years later, they continued to love and care for each other.

Throughout her life, she was employed in several occupations including a nail technician, welder, customer service support, and gas station attendant. She spent most of her working life in various roles at convenience stores. She found so much joy in greeting people each day and made extra efforts to show them kindness and love. She took pride in keeping a clean store and worked hard to add improvements at each location.

Brooke was incredibly creative and loved working with her hands. She found so much joy in finding beauty in nature, art, nail art, makeup, jewelry, and music. Each person in her life can attest to her influence on their own love of these things now. Brooke truly loved helping anyone she could. She was always able to spot someone in need and drop everything to help. She was always stopping to give people rides, help with broken down cars, and giving her last to someone who needed it a little more than she did. She was compassionate and had such a bright soul. Many have been touched by her kindness and beautiful smile.

She is survived by her children: Ariel, Mikaylah, Jaylin, Payton, Xander, and Dietrich; her grandchildren: Azrael, Ezeriah, Greylyn, and Stella; and all her siblings. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents.
