Bret Pilaar

CLEARFIELD – Bret Pilaar, 19, passed away March 3, 2014 due to a lifelong struggle with Muscular Dystrophy.

He was born August 18, 1994 in Aurora, CO; the son of Thomas Pilaar and Tracie Sue Leyba.

Surviving are his parents and brother, Dustin Leyba.

Bret was a ray of light to his family.  He enjoyed playing video games, going to Muscular Dystrophy Camp, talking and playing with his friends and family.

Funeral services will be held Monday, March 10, 2014 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s Layton Mortuary, 1867 No. Fairfield Road.  Friends may visit family Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Monday from 12:45 to 1:45 p.m. at the mortuary.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests that donations may be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.
