Brent Morgan Reeder

1946 ~ 2022

We are sad to announce that our father, Brent Morgan Reeder, peacefully left this world on July 5, 2022 at the age of 75, surrounded by his family. He will be deeply missed and will always hold a place in our hearts. He was preceded in death by his parents, Edwin Glen Reeder and Grace Emily Reeder, as well as two of his siblings, Robert Reeder and Betty Williams. 

Brent lived a full and interesting life. He overcame a lot of trials in his lifetime and was a survivor. He enlisted to serve his country in the Vietnam war and lived through an aortic aneurism with a 50/50 chance of survival. After which, he had to relearn how to do the simplest of tasks, such as how to write and walk. After recovering, he even ran in the 1993 St. George Marathon. One of his deepest passions was supporting our military and after retiring he continued to support his country on Hill Air Force Base as a civilian for 40 years. He was a true American patriot and was awarded many times for his service and contributions. In his free time he enjoyed fishing and hunting, photography, and watching anything true crime. He also loved the Dallas Cowboys. His family will always remember joining him in the hobbies he loved best. 

Brent is survived by his children, Jonas Reeder, Erica Veal, Corey Reeder, and Jeremy Reeder and his grandchildren, Breanna Veal, Taylor Veal, Dallas Reeder, Ty Reeder and Keenan Krohn; as well as by his children’s spouses, Jonathan Veal, Jenifer Reeder, and Kristina Reeder; his brother, Jim Reeder and his many nieces and nephews. 

We would love for you to come and honor his life and memory on Thursday, July 14, 2022 at 2 p.m. at Lindquist’s North Ogden Mortuary, 2140 N. Washington Blvd. Friends may visit with family on Thursday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the mortuary. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park.
