LAYTON a€" Our beloved husband and father Brent Peterson Ellis passed away suddenly, May 19, 2007 due to natural causes.

Born in Logan, Utah to LeGrande Clark and Marilyn Peterson Ellis on November 13, 1953, Brent was the oldest of their seven children. He attended Logan High School where he excelled in athletics. As a missionary for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, he served in the Great Australia West Mission. He later graduated from Utah State University. Brent married the love of his life, Robin Williams, on April 8, 1982, in the Salt Lake Temple. They settled in Layton, where they raised their three wonderful children, Aaron (24), Breanna (22), and Jared (20). Brent was an amazing husband and father and his entire life was spent in the pursuit of his family''s happiness. His great love for them was felt in everything he did.

Brent served in many capacities in the church, including as Bishop of the Layton Kays Creek Ward (1991-1996). He had a strong testimony and his incredible spirit was felt by all. Brent touched the lives of everyone he met. He was an incredible son, brother, and friend to countless numbers of people. He was a pillar of light and strength to everyone around him. His presence on this earth will be greatly missed and our lives will be forever blessed because of our time spent with him. We have peace knowing that he is continuing his work and preparing for the great day when we will be reunited for the eternities.
